PRIVACY POLICY

1. Glossary:

Operator – Merchant RTTranslations OÜ, reg. No.14490373, legal address: Narva mnt 7 Kesklinna linnaosa, Tallinn Harju maakond 10117, Estonia;

Customer – a customer who has filed a completed Customer registration form with the Operator and was registered in the database;

Database – business software used by the Operator to manage orders and sell goods;

2. Legal grounds for processing of the Customer's personal data:

Execution and performance of a contract upon the Customer's application; compliance with the requirements of applicable legislation, including the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act (Isikuandmete kaitse seadus); the Customer's consent; legitimate interests of the Operator (e.g., to carry out business activities, to verify the Customer's identity, to ensure performance of contractual liabilities), in reliance upon the provisions of Article 6(1)(a), (b), (c) and (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

3. The Customer's data can be processed for the following purposes:

  • The Customer's first name and surname: for Customer identification;

  • Personal No. or address: for invoicing.

  • Phone No. and/or e-mail address: for Customer identification, for communicating with the Customer on the issues of order processing.

  • Purchase history: for exercise of the Operator's rights and responsibilities under the Estonian Accounting Act (Raamatupidamise seadus);

4. The Customer's data storage period:

  • First name, surname, phone No., e-mail address, personal No. (if specified) – while the Customer's registration form is valid and not revoked, or during the period provided for by applicable legislation (e.g., in accordance with the provisions of Section 12 of the Estonian Accounting Act);

  • Purchase history – while the Customer's consent remains in effect and is not revoked, or during the period provided for by applicable legislation (e.g., in accordance with the provisions of Section 12 of the Estonian Accounting Act);

5. The Customer may require the following information or actions from the Operator:

  • Which personal data of the Customer is processed;

  • Request correction of data, deletion thereof or restriction of data processing;

  • Object against the processing of data;

  • Right to data portability, if applicable;

  • Right to revoke the consent (registration) given in the Customer registration form;

6. The Customer may request implementation of the rights specified in paragraph 5 hereof by means of a signed application sent to Narva mnt 7 Kesklinna linnaosa, Tallinn Harju maakond 10117, Estonia, or by means of an application signed with an electronic signature and sent to the e-mail address info@rttranslations.ee;

7. The Customer may address any questions, complaints or suggestions within the context of data processing to the Operator using the following contact information: info@rttranslations.ee, +372 5888 5586.

8. If the Customer and the Operator are unable to solve the encountered problem in accordance with the procedure provided for by paragraph 7, the Customer may file a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), address: Tatari 39, 10134 Tallinn, Estonia, phone No. +372 627 4135, e-mail: info@aki.ee, website: www.aki.ee.
